A Sip Of Immortality Jetice speedily ran deeper into the cave. Those orbs glancing over his shoulder periodically to make sure his companions had not lost sight of him. Excitement moved throughout his body, he had finally found the fountain of immortality. Just a flask full would surely be all he would need in order to strike it rich.

"Jetice, Slow down!" Leviticus called out from behind, a cheerful smirk on his face as he continued to stare at the cape of the demon. "Have we finally found something of wealth?"

"I hope so! I am tired of all this running." A third voice echoed from behind Leviticus, reminding the demon and the human that Giovanni was still with

When it comes to anatomy, one such as DJ could care less about such trivial matters. When last he checked, he remembered being around six feet but, he could have grown since then. His hair is short and matted by coagulated blood and dirt. Like any infected, his eyes are brown and clouded with green specs.  Since he doesn't care about his personal appearance or hygiene, he is best comfortable in a pair of grey sweatpants and an off-white almost pinkish colored tanktop – color provided by the many victims that painted his frame. …The mission was simple…

"Giovanni, you are to eliminate a certain individual who is destroying the human population." A man's voice called out to the Lion-Tamarin from behind a closed door. "On the table are files pertaining to this mission. You will be rewarded handsomely if you can bring back his head."

Giovanni gave off a yawn, his life as an assassin kept him with sleepless nights and constant paranoia of being caught. He stood slowly from his seat and gave off a stretch, that tail curling upward before coiling around his leg. "Understood." He approached the desk, snatching up the file and scanning through it

Step Two. . . Improvise. They had left him home once again and as usual, the Lion Tamarin was bored out of his mind. He didn't think it was fair that Jetice and Levitucus got to leave the house everyday to mingle with the rest of the world. Even after they stated they needed to get jobs, he still felt it was unfair.

Giovanni sauntered down the hall of the small house, yawning as he continued along to no true place of interest.  His frame soon came to a halt in front of Jetice's room as his eyes trailed down the sides of the wall and over to the doorknob. It wasn't long before a grin appeared over his face. He recalled the days Jetice would yell at Leviticu

So I decided it was time to get a little serious (let alone Epic...) I realize that Giovanni has been mysterious from day one... so I felt it was important for me to list a hearty amount of information on his past life. As you can see this is just one of the many facilities that house the Tamarins. This should also let you know what group he falls in and some information on his latent powers. I am still struggling with the idea of making the rest of the Tamarins known... this just gives me more options in my ever progressive storyline. Well... Hope you Giovanni fans loved this concept.. it took a lot of my imagination.

The next entry is going to be an EPIC BATTLE

Haha, my last comment included asking if you were going to do the first person with other characters. I should know better than to ask since You have a lot of chapters already wirtten and I'm sure many of my questions will be answered if i just keep reading!

But I definately have some sympathy for the Tamarin. Just reading this about his past definately made him more weak and less happy than his character suggests, though I really like the idea that he stays very optimistic in the unveiling of his past and I admire his resolve to get the truth.

Still a Levi fan though. :P

Dammit.. I was convinced this would have you clinging to Giovanni with open arms... Heh but you still have more chapters to go... YOU WILL CONVERT lol

Just for you I will give you insight on the creation of Giovanni... I made him out of my view of "Happy" people in the world. They are always smiling and trying their best to think of the brighter side of life.. but how many of them are just using that as a mask to hide their true feelings about everything. I have come across people who have been abused or are recovery addicts... or lost their job.. or their parents... but for 17 hours out of the day while around others, a smile is caked on to their face damn now hurting their cheek bones just so nobody will consider them weak or look at them differently...

Giovanni... is the mask that people wear...

I can relate to him more now that you disclosed this to me. My mom passed away in July last year after 5 years of fighting colon cancer and I was exactly like that. I went in to work every day after with a smile plastered on my face and the coworkers thought that I was just looking on the bright side and that I was really strong. They didn't know that I took a shower every night and cried until I couldn't cry anymore. Now, almost a year later, I still have the sad thoughts and I can feel the lack of her presence, but I can smile more genuinely because I had time to heal.

*glomps onto Giovanni* The wounds will heal, sweet Tamarin! *cuddles*

Yea it took me forever to come up with a backstory.... I wanted to make Giovanni sound like some failed Bio-Weapon without making him out to be some omega creature. I like the black mage tamarins lol I shoulda made Giovanni one of those.

Wow, interesting chapter. =)

Instead of using nature to bind with the subjects, they were given human sacrifices by the dozen. Murders, killers, innocent, children, women, and animals, dead or alive were transformed into essences and bound to these Tamarins.

That is probably the scariest thing you have written into the story so far. Those researchers were getting into some creepy stuff. :o

Heh.. I always thought about how people who have magic can summon sprites of nature and stuff.. then I got to thinking... what would happen if people made pacts with human sacrifices... would they summon them? or something more? This installment took up a lot of my imagination heh.. I went all out with it. I am glad I kept to this story line as opposed to the other one I was thinking... (Don't worry.. I will still write it... and put it in the AU section of the gallery.)
