...At First Glance
When it comes to deciding his physical human appearance, Mel settles for the meager built with a pinch of definition. He continuously switches from brown to white skin tone, but always seems to settle for a beige tint that complements his light green eyes. No matter the human form he takes, Mel never seems to have any hair. Instead, there are many black and red symbols covering his entire head-- similar to the symbols found throughout his pages while in grimoire form. To make up for his lack of hair, he sports a white hooded robe trimmed in red. It is identical to what normal Licensed Clerics are given after they become well adept in their field of healing--give or take a few missing emblems and altered coloring. He has also taking a liking to round shaped reading glasses and feels somewhat "Exposed" if he doesn't have a pair on.
If Mel is in his Grimoire form, he is able to become a creature made entirely of paper. This particular form comes in handy during escapes, getting into tight places, and flying. He is unable to speak in this form and because of strain can only do it once a day.
...Skin Deep
Though he is able to decide his physical appearance, Mel has had little or no control over his personality. Experimental magic has caused him to become extremely anti-social to the point that he is constantly irritated when he is around others. He also has little remorse for those around him and rarely questions or hesitates when given an order to eliminate a target. Mel can be impulsive and reckless at all times, but that only enhance his extemporaneous skill set. He views humans as an inferior race and constantly questions many of the normal everyday things that they do. He is only loyal to one person and views him more like a god than anything else. Mel requires no food or sleep and constantly mocks those who do. He doesn't have many hobbies with the exception of reading books... Though some believe he is actually talking to them.
...All Work And All Play
Many people are skeptical, but none can seem to prove if Mel is indeed a licensed Cleric. He is able to perform all of the normal spells that a Cleric would and has even been able to cast "Resurrection" a few times on his owner. Since Mel is a grimoire, he is also able to call upon creatures to do his bidding. This can range from simple goblins to devastating elemental. If Mel exerts too much of his power into summoning large beasts, the recoil will send him back into his normal form for a long period of time. He can only call forth a select number of monsters a day, so he tries to limit himself to only one. This is rather hard when he knows he has an army at his disposal. On top of that, he is able to perform basic elemental spells.
Since Mel has a combination of both healing and summoning magic, his spells can sometimes cause other effects. Certain healing spells can deliver the opposite effect, causing them to damage others and his summoning may accidentally call upon passive monsters that specialize in supportive or healing abilities.
... Everything In Between
Mel has no real serious ambitions or goals. Everything he wants in life is presented to him in the form of words. If his owner wants the world then so does Mel. He will do whatever it takes to make his owner happy-including taking out anyone who stands in his way. He cares not for the human race and would rather see them all extinct then have to live in harmony with them. Secretly, he has tried to find more information on beings similar to him. Though it is not a pressing matter, it does linger in his thoughts and is one of his main reasons for reading so much.

Inspiration
Logan painted pictures. Not the kind you see in galleries or on a proud mother's fridge, though. He painted with words, the pen as his brush and his imagination as the colours.
Yes, he painted beautiful words on a thin paper canvas in monotone black ink. The after taste of his words, however, painted a rainbow in your mind.
On summer afternoons he'd scribble down hurried words in a school book, staring at what I thought was nothing but, to him, was a whole story. In the park, while mother's took their children round in pushchairs or held onto their sticky, little hands, Logan took snapshots in his mind and made a story.
At times it was cl

Venn's Creation
As a demon hunter, I had but one passion: to fight against the forces of evil. I craved retribution for the loss of friends, family members, and homes. Yet what I should mourn for is my own shattered humanity.
You see, nothing is ever destroyed, but things can be converted. That which is consumed or decayed becomes energy, not oblivion. My drive to kill was fueled by loss, and my ability to kill would not be possible if I went too long without nourishment...
But let me get to the point. Destruction isn't possible, but in way, creation is. We can direct out energy to specific tasks, converting it into our own desired outcome. I employed a

*comes in to Kingman Lake at early morning. A teenage couple is strolling down the sandy shore side, hand in hand, letting the waves brush over their feet. Camera zooms in on them*
Girl: *giggles* I can't believe you said that to him. You could've gotten in so much trouble!
Boy: *smirks; looks proud of himself* Hey, I had to do it! He's been pushing his weight around for so long now, it's only right that someone finally pulled him down a peg.
Girl: But to threaten him like that? Seriously, Jerry, you could've gotten in so much trouble; he's a teacher!
Boy: Look, I was just warning him. He should've left

My Fourth character for YATN, Mel. A living, breathing, and walking Grimoire!
I enjoyed Firo so much that I had to create something slightly similar to him. As you can see.. he isn’t the best of person to be around. Unlike Firo he has more control over both his forms and can alter his physical looks if needed (I hope that doesn’t confuse people... He will never alter his human appearance... He is quite happy with them.) He also enjoys his outfit... So he won’t be changing that.... (notice that Firo always wears something new... he comes to life naked.)
Being a grimoire he has black magic spells and summoning. If any of you are familiar with grimoires (i might be wrong with them) they are used to mostly summon... and they have a set number of spells you can use a day... Or maybe that is just from the game I play...
I wanted to create something new.. that might mess up when casting healing or summoning magic.. and thus Sumhealner (sum -heal-ner) was born! lol. Now you too can make healing an offensive spell and summon holy creatures for support!
(you know i love dysfunctional spell casters...)
Trivia: His name is actually Melville... Yet I will continue to call him Mel (My Evil Literature) until I see fit.

That's one of the most interesting character bios I've seen, haha. Mel seems like a rad dude.
